La Forêt-Fouesnant

Manoir du Stang

La Forêt Fouesnant - Brittany

Hotel: Open from April 28 to November 5, 2023

Activities: Every day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Discover la Forêt-Fouesnant and its activities

Situated at the head of the bay of the same name between Fouesnant and Concarneau, the village is just as much a place to get away from it all on the GR, admire the circles and bagadou as it is to enjoy the local culinary specialities!

La Forêt-Fouesnant

Facing the ocean, this wooded Breton village welcomes you on its paths through the old port, along its long sandy beach, but also to share its festivities and local products.

The crêperies, seafood restaurants and simpler eateries just 5 minutes away by car (or 20 minutes on foot) will ensure that everyone can find something to eat on a convivial table.

After the cherry blossom festival around June 24, you're invited to Le Penity every Wednesday during the summer to admire the bagadou and Breton dance circle.

Port La Foret

Le Golf de Cornouaille ( 1 km )

The Golf de Cornouaille, ideally situated on the edge of the bay of La Forêt-Fouesnant, 15 km south of Quimper, features an 18-hole course (5682 meters, par 71) combining architectural and technical qualities.

Designed by Fred and Martin Hawtree and opened in 1959, it is the oldest golf course on the south coast of Brittany.

La Foret Fouesnant

Port La Forêt

Port-la-Forêt is La Forêt-Fouesnant's marina, one of the largest in Brittany, sheltered by Kerleven beach and Cap Coz headland.

Here you'll come across some of the world's greatest ocean racing skippers and their racing boats, as well as a few old rigs and the launches that take you to the Glénans archipelago.

La Forêt-Fouesnant is also a seaside resort in the south of the Finistère department, located precisely in the "Baie de la Forêt", between Cap Coz (part of the neighboring commune of Fouesnant) and Concarneau.
